These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the CORE mobile application and related services (collectively, the "App"), operated by CORE ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Eligibility & Accounts
Age Requirement
You must be at least 13 years of age to use CORE. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have the consent of a parent or legal guardian to use the App. Users under 13 are not permitted to create an account.
Account Registration
You must create an account to use CORE. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate and current information and to update it as needed.
Account Security
You must notify us immediately at admin@coreapp.com.au if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account. We are not liable for losses resulting from unauthorised use of your account where you have failed to keep your credentials secure.
2. Subscriptions & Billing
Free & Premium Tiers
CORE offers a free tier with core features and an optional CORE Premium subscription that unlocks advanced analytics, AI coaching, and other premium features. Premium plans are available on a daily, weekly, monthly, or lifetime basis.
Billing
Subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store or Google Play, depending on your platform. Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation of purchase. Prices are displayed in your local currency at the time of purchase.
Auto-Renewal
Recurring subscriptions (daily, weekly, monthly) automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Renewal charges are applied within 24 hours of the end of the current period.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no refunds are provided for unused portions of a subscription period except where required by applicable law (including Australian Consumer Law).
Lifetime Access
The lifetime purchase grants access to CORE Premium features for as long as the App is available and operational. We make no guarantee of perpetual availability.
3. User-Generated Content
Your Content
You retain ownership of any content you create and post in CORE (workouts, posts, comments, profile information). By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the App.
Content Standards
You agree not to post content that:
- Is unlawful, defamatory, abusive, harassing, or threatening
- Violates another person's privacy or intellectual property rights
- Contains spam, advertising, or unsolicited commercial content
- Is false, misleading, or impersonates any person or entity
- Contains harmful, offensive, or explicit material
Content Removal
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or that we deem inappropriate, without notice or liability. Repeated violations may result in account suspension or termination.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others. You must not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the App or its systems
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the App without permission
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers or infrastructure
- Harass, bully, or intimidate other users
- Create multiple accounts to circumvent suspensions or restrictions
- Use the App in any way that could harm CORE or its users
5. Health, Fitness & Nutrition Disclaimer
The information provided by the App — including workout recommendations, nutrition targets, AI coach insights, and performance analytics — is for general informational and motivational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical, nutritional, or fitness advice.
You acknowledge that physical activity involves inherent risks. You participate in any exercise programme at your own risk. We are not responsible for any injury, illness, or other adverse outcome that may result from following information or suggestions provided by the App.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, design, code, logos, trademarks, and other materials in the App are the property of CORE or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
7. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
8. Third-Party Services
The App integrates with third-party services including Firebase (Google), RevenueCat, Apple, Facebook, and Google Sign-In. Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you breach these Terms, without notice or liability. You may delete your account at any time through the App (Settings > Account > Delete Account) or by contacting us at admin@coreapp.com.au.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free or that defects will be corrected.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law (including Australian Consumer Law), we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the App or by updating the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
