Privacy Policy

Last updated 31 May 2026. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the control you have over your data.

1. Overview

CORE ("we", "us") provides a fitness tracking app for logging workouts, nutrition and performance. We respect your privacy and aim to collect only what is needed to make the app work well for you. This policy applies to the CORE app and coreapp.com.au.

2. Data we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information — your email address and the basic profile details you choose to provide.
  • Fitness data — workouts, sets, reps, nutrition and macro logs, body metrics and achievements you record.
  • Usage data — how you interact with the app, used to fix bugs and improve features.
  • Device data — device type and operating system version, for compatibility and support.

3. How we use your data

We use your data to operate core features — saving and syncing your workouts and nutrition, generating your performance analytics, powering the social feed you opt into, and keeping your account secure. We also use aggregated, de-identified usage data to improve the product.

4. Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with service providers that help us run CORE (such as hosting and payment processing), and only as needed to provide the service. Content you choose to post to the social feed is visible according to your privacy settings.

5. Storage & security

Your data is stored on secured servers and protected with encryption in transit. We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal data is removed in line with section 6.

6. Your rights

You can access, export, correct or delete your data at any time. To remove everything, visit our Delete Account page or use the in-app settings. Deletion is permanent and irreversible.

7. Children

CORE is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your region). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will remove it.
